The Grands Reportages magazine has followed professionals who aspire to wear the famous blue-white-red collar.
The "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" contest (MOF) gives the participants a hard time. This year, only 200 obtained it among the 1200 candidates to have presented themselves. The Grands Reportages cameras , presented by Anne-Claire Coudray on TF1, followed the preparation of four of them.

At 26, he is the youngest candidate to win his place in the finals in the kitchen category. "The first time I met Chief Nasti, he asked me why I wanted to join his brigade. I told him that I just wanted to become MOF, like him. I learn every day at his side. Will he manage to win against the 27 competitors among the best chefs in France who face him?

The award ceremony
The title of MOF is awarded for the excellence of the work provided, it requires months or even years of preparation for different competitors. The medal ceremony is held at the Sorbonne in May, during a large meeting, followed by a ceremony at the Élysée. The awarded candidate retains his / her title for life with an indication of his specialty and the year of his promotion.
